At Corwin, we are united against the systemic, overt, and persistent structural racism in our education system and our society at large. Corwin remains steadfast in our commitment to pursuing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for all learners.  We elevate the voices of those who have been too narrowly represented in our centers of learning. We continue to publish and promote content that is dedicated to educational access for all students; opportunity and safety for children and educators; and humanizing instruction that prepares children for an unpredictable future. We stand with our authors and champion academic freedom, freedom from censorship, excellence in research, and civility in discourse and behavior. Through our publications, professional learning services, and our own organizational practices, we strive to actively dismantle injustice and bring attention to damages suffered by misrepresented communities over the course of many generations.  As professionals and as an organization committed to reframing deficit-laden mental models, we work toward embodying cultural humility, viewing our work through an anti-oppression lens, and identifying and challenging issues of race and their impact on our organization, on schools, and on other institutions. We affirm that the work of becoming anti-racist is a life-long endeavor, beginning with the learning that takes place in our schools and continuing through our professional lifespans. Through our work, we commit to the work of radical healing.
